Can I play Prodigy for free?

Yes, you can. Just install and play. But please note that Prodigy is designed to be a very functional, powerful piece of software. It has limited support for older peripherals, so you should first make sure the USB ports on your computer have proper power supplies.

It is also worth noting that though I can't talk specifically to any software incompatibilities, this game was heavily optimized to run on Windows XP, and some high-end graphics cards will not work. For more information, please check out the About section.

Will a specific edition of Prodigy be available for all versions of DOS?

No. Some game features are only available in an editor mode. Prodigy is free for students to play, and there is no cost at all for teachers to implement it. However, a premium membership is available for families to purchase for $8.95 per month or $59.88 per year.
Prodigy is a supported game. If you need help or support, you can visit our support pages or find others that are willing to help.

Does every country support every Prodigy card?

No. See this document.

How do I have my Prodigy level/roll posted?

You can find your PROXY level and roll from the "Feedback" tab in the main menu of your user profile page. You will also need to go to the "RULES" tab of your profile and upload a new deck.

How do I try out the game and help shape it before submitting reviews?

Here are the steps:
No, due to PucaTrade's Shop Policy it is prohibited to play Prodigy for free. However, players can add additional versions of Prodigy to their collection for free.

What happens if I buy a custom set?

If a player buys a custom set from a dealer, the player receives an identical player file of the other player but with the custom card(s) replaced by identical copies of the same card. The player does not gain any additional cards from the deck except the original Prodigy.

At the end of the tournament, both the player and the dealer draw their top 3 cards. The player's Prodigy is turned face down and goes to the dealer's personal pile www.prodigygame.com/play membership There are two ways, and both are membership based. Either by having an account on Prodigy, or if you want to buy an account for $5, you can go to this site and join: http://www.prodigy.com/scholarships

A membership is simply a credit card in your name that is charged on a monthly basis and converts to access to live performances. The latest credit card allowed to be charged for membership is Chase, but there is no other charge associated with your membership. The only credit card you have to charge is the one that has the $5 fee. It's free to become a member, so I've saved you money.
